Rab has arrested Mohammad Nuruddin (29), the bus driver responsible for the death of 6 people, including 4 from the same family, when a passenger bus hit him at the Dhaleshwari toll plaza on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway.

He was arrested from the Siddhirganj Mizmiji area of ​​Narayanganj on Friday (December 27) night.

RAB-10 Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Tapash Karmakar said that at 7 am on December 27, a recklessly speeding bus (Dhaka Metro B-14-5170) of Bepari Paribahan lost control and crushed a private car and a motorcycle at the Dhaleshwari toll plaza of South Keraniganj Police Station in Dhaka. Six people were killed, including 4 passengers of the private car and a woman and her 7-year-old son on the motorcycle. In addition, 10 people were seriously injured and are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

When the investigation against the killer driver Nuruddin began, he was arrested from Siddhirganj with the help of RAB-11. Nuruddin is the son of Md. Rafiq of Daulatkhan Joynagar area of ​​Bhola.

In addition, RAB said that Nuruddin had been driving various vehicles including buses, trucks, pickups for 10 years. His driving license had expired for 2 years and the bus did not have any fitness certificate.
